AB Law and ABC Title congratulate Attorney Jillian B. Von Gunten on receiving an Emerging Alumni Award from Muskingum University. The Award was established in 2018 and recognizes alumni who in the first 15 years of their careers have made significant contributions to their professions and their world.
Jillian graduated summa cum laude from Muskingum University in 2009 with bachelor’s degrees in political science and theater and minors in history and english. She received her juris doctorate cum laude from Capital University Law School in 2012 and was a member of the Order of the Curia.
Muskingum University professors Laura Hilton and Diane Rao nominated Jillian for her work to help meet the needs of marginalized individuals in her community and noted Von Gunten as a “Muskie alum continues to thrive and build for others a rich wholeness to life. Jillian has dedicated herself to making opportunities for others to enjoy the performing arts and to be treated as equals.”
